For 12 years the recyclers of QRP continued
to provide parts locating programs, salvage acquisition/disposal programs and a unique member to member parts delivery program to insurers, repairers and recyclers but as the industry and market
place changed so did the need for QRP as created.
It is now a new day at QRP of Wisconsin. In early 2011 the former trucking (Parts Express Program) operation was been set free from the restrictions to service only QRP recycling members. The
program is still in operation but it is now able to service a much wider number of business’ and now operates as the Recycled Parts Exchange Program and is independently owned and operated out of
Waupaca WI.
The former QRP Vehicle Management System (QRPVMS) and the remainder of the QRP Corporation was sold and is now owned by Roger Ross who had been the Business Manager for
the QRP group of recyclers. The QRPVMS program now operates as QRP Salvage Solutions.
All of the former QRP recycling members remain active with participation on the salvage acquisition/disposal
program and most of them have continued with the Recycled Parts Exchange Program as well. The Salvage Solutions program is now available with recyclers on the ground in 15 different states
and is providing many more bidders to the insurance and financial industry customers we serve. Other business’ that were formed independently to service QRP of Wisconsin and the members
continue to this day. One Source Auto Title Service, LLC and QRT, Quality Towing and Recovery.
The change from corporate ownership by a group of recyclers to independent operation by the
trucking operators on that concern and by Roger Ross in regard to the salvage program has allowed for growth of both business’ that could not be otherwise recognized and provides a much broader
service to the insurance and recycling industries. |
